It's a new owner. Times may of changed and not updated on Google yet, or employee just running late that day. They were open a couple weeks ago. Hope this helps.
Not familiar with this tea
I love coffee...espresso really. When I do get a cup, I avoid the chains as much as possible because I want real coffee - and this is one of a few places around town I will frequent. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the coffee is more than just coffee - it is 'ritualistic'.
Cute little coffee shop open earlier than most. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee to start your day this would be a great place to try out. I love the historic charm of the place. They also have some small souvenirs and nic nacks for sale inside the shop
Was given a completely different drink than what I ordered. I ordered a frozen Augustine Mud but was given basically a hot latte. Then, I was charged over 9 dollars for it!!! I was assured it was the right drink, so I just gave up and payed for it. Have heard employees give themselves tips when you pay via credit card. I should have asked for a refund. Feel scammed :( Do not go here.
Came here for brunch. The food was very fresh and the perfect balance of healthy and delicious. Very bohemian, awesome music, really lovely ambiance.
This is a nice place to stop for coffee if you are visiting downtown St. Augustine. The coffee is very good and the prices are comparable to other coffee shops. They have a good selection of coffee, teas, hot chocolate, ice cream and dessert. The service can be a bit slow but is generally friendly. The atmosphere is interesting. It is cozy with an eclectic decor. The garden area next door is nice and relaxing.
The place is looks cute and small. The lady who was working there seemed pretty nice. However, the bubble tea could use a lot of improvement. It seemed watered down and the flavoring was not really prominent. But, it is a really nice place and makes you feel comfortable.
Great coffee and great food. Really nice vibe. Loved the outdoor seating area!
Cute place, unique, small which can be a problem if it gets super busy there, but everything else from the presentation to the coffee was great! It felt homey, open door like place, I would say these prices somewhat match to Starbucks but the quality is there, this is a place you should check out if your in the area for sure!
Coffee shop with good bkfast/lunch and ample outdoor seating. The vibe is chilled and seating is in a garden. The omlettes were good and fresh. Alas, the coffee (Americano) was average with bland flavor and aroma. Very polite and nice staff.
My favorite coffee place. Assorted flavors. Very yummy.
This is one of our must stops when we are in St. Augustine. Just a neat place with great drinks. Kyle was funny and made a fantastic latte. Even offered non dairy options when I forgot to!
Excellent coffee at an excellent location! The Castillo de San Marcos right from the windows. Also there is a lovely outdoor seating area that is very close to everything with lots of other things going on. This is a great place to people watching a great place to access all other areas of the Old Town of St Augustine.
This is a neat little spot. Housed in an old blacksmith shop in the historic district, it’s the ideal stop for a refreshing break from touring the Colonial Quarter.
Kyle was awesome, helpful and so friendly! We will be back for more coffee!
Here’s the five stars I promised you. Best chai latte In Florida.
This is a quaint coffee shack around the corner from the Castillo de San Marcos. They have an extensive menu including a whole page of hot chocolate varieties. I ordered the banana split and it was amazing. It came with whipped topping, cinnamon, and a piece of hardened chocolate drizzle. Overall amazing independent coffee shop vibes with outstanding quality, and unique atmosphere, with quaint outdoor seating. Perfect way to end an evening of Christmas lights in St Augustine!
Kyle is super helpful and super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him while getting our coffee. He made my wife’s iced latte exactly the way she likes it! Thanks Kyle.
Connected to Crucial is a similar sized shack that has small but amazing plates of breakfast/lunch/brunch food. The outdoor seating is beautiful in the early morning before it gets too hot. If you’re in a rush for food, you may want to go somewhere else since it’s farm to table here it’s a little longer wait...but well worth it. Be sure and hittup this gem.
Built out of an old blacksmith shop, it's the coolest place to get coffee in St Augustine. Everything is good. Not to mention the outdoor atmosphere. It's like your in the middle of a forest is amazing. If you're gonna visit be ready to walk, find parking then enjoy an amazing cup of coffee.
Best coffee ever. Jason did an excellent job making the perfect drink for me. I simply requested something with chocolate and coffee and cold. He nailed it on the head. It was so perfect that I finished it before my wife received hers. Usually, it would last a little while, but not today. He was so sweet, when I asked for a refill, he offered me the leftover from the blender for free. The decor is so inviting, that when you leave, you want to take a souvenir of the shop with you. They offer a wide range of drinks, from coffee to shakes to smoothies to shaved ice, they even offer pastries and special sweet treats. We brought our whole family and they all got something. My brother's drink did not taste how he wanted and Jason went the extra mile to make sure he liked it before leaving. Must stop if you are within a 30 minute drive.
Not real boba tea... flavorless... disappointed as I drove 30 minutes
Great coffee in a beautiful outdoor garden setting.
Very cute little place with a huge selection of beverages and very good coffee, which is not always that easy to find in this area. It's situated in a very old building and displays all sorts of interesting objects. Great place to take a break from seeing all the historical sights and reload on some caffeine.
Tried the spiced Thai coffee and it wasn’t too bad at all. Service was awesome and she was very informative about everything they offer. A definite place to visit while here in St. Augustine.
I just can’t even with how precious and unique this place is. And the coffee is fantastic.
I adore the rustic atmosphere of this place. It fits right into the streets of historic St. Augustine. Thier coffees are amazing too. We had the Snickers cappuccino and it was mind blowing. Not only was the coffee strong and delicious it looked like a piece of art, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a piece of chocolate art to garnish. The best part was that it is across the street from the fort and one block away from hotel. It's a quaint little cafe that I highly suggest checking out.
The coffee was good. The bubble tea tasted watered down and the smoothie not what a "fresh" fruit smoothie should be. I've worked in a few different coffee shops and I wouldn't have served what was given. The place is cute and it is a nice to sit and have a cup of coffee. I just wouldn't do the rest of it.
Lovely place. Great attention and excellent coffee.
Unique vibe, good coffee and great customer service. Beautiful to visit after sundown and sit in their patio.
Awesome Just loved it Worth the trip Fantastic charm lovely garden Induldge myseld with Ice Cream
My husband, daughter, and I visited St. Augustine for the first time the last weekend in June. Our first day there we walked past this neat looking coffee shop and decided to go there for breakfast the following morning. We ordered 3 muffins and my husband got a coffee. All 3 muffins had mold on them! So I took them back up to the counter and the girl working was very nice and apologetic and refunded me for the muffins as well as the coffee. She asked if she could get us anything else that she promised wouldn't have mold but I said no thanks and we went somewhere else. I'm giving this place 2 stars because my husband said the coffee was good, the girl working was very nice, and it's a cute little place. I just wouldn't recommend ordering food from here.
Tiny quaint coffee space. They have a creative menu with tons of coffee options
Crucial Coffee has been one of the original coffee shops to visit. Despite every storm, this little wooden shack still stands downtown. It's a small shop, but it has a comfortable, hometown feel with ample seating outside in the garden. They sell coffee beans as well.
The shop is quaint and the outside seating area would be nice when the weather is good. But inside seating is very limited. They have a wide selection of latte flavors. The coffees were average, but my wife was not very happy with her ginger tea. Also there was only one employee and as a result, the wait was pretty long.
I love the look of the cafe. My coffee was nicely crafted and it was delicious.
My family and I visit Saint Augustine every year; this time, rather than simply remarking on the fun style of the building and continuing on our walk we decided to pop in on a Sunday night. Really it was because of the awesome energy that the barista Kyle was putting out that that drew us in! He was friendly, playful and made really mindful, yummy drinks! It was really nice to go somewhere downtown and not be made to feel like “one of the many” tourists. Yay to awesome customer service!☕️💪🏼🤩
Thus place is so cozy and quaint. They only ever have one employee working in the 3 times I have been there. But it kinda makes you slow down and enjoy the place. The garden is such a beautiful place to sit down and sip your coffee. If you want hot or cold coffee go with the snickers. Amazing both ways. They have so many fun drinks. I encourage you to slow down and really enjoy it. This is not the type of place you want to pass up. There is so much history in that little building. Oh and order a price of cheesecake to have with your hot coffee.
They said they were closed, but the boss was super generous!! He helped us out and got us amazing lattes.
Excellent service. And now they are open until 5 and serving beer in the pandemic. Shelley and Cameron are good people, so come see them. Nice courtyard to relax in even if St Auggy is dead. Come here for excellence.
Lots of choice, one thing I really wanted was affogato, unfortunately it's not on the menu. Good outdoor seating spots, atmosphere and music. I like the outdoor yard a lot, but they don't always have the spot, since it's limited seating.
Great little coffee shop in the historical district. Good coffee and some great history in the building itself and take a look at the floor you will be surprised at what it's made of. Danielle was our barista and she was awesome.
This place saved our evening. We were scrambling to find a place to eat after missing our reservation elsewhere. They were set to close in 15 minutes, but still agreed to seat us. It then started raining. They still served us drinks while the rain passed, and then promptly reseated us when it stopped. We appreciate their extra effort to accommodate us!
Looks cool but didn’t deliver. I asked for a flat white and was told it comes in an espresso cup with a little milk on top. Interesting. That’s not a flat white. If you like coffee, and to get what you order, I recommend going to the Kookaburra down the road instead. Not only did they have great coffee but service was lovely too.
We waited 20 minutes for a frozen snickers coffee frappuccino and we ended up getting cold coffee with cream in it. This was the worse frozen coffee drink I have ever had.
Kyle did such a great job! Talked me thru the tastes and my likes. I must recommend the rhino liqueur! I was nervous the alcohol would be strong but this brew is so smooth and the flavors are so great together! My husband and I will be back soon!
Great little place with good Joe, at $2.75 for a small cup maybe a little pricey.
I love this place really nice place to come and drink you favorite coffee or you favorite drink is very nice and the place is beautiful 100% good please don’t ever miss this place is the best coffee in town. Ok
This place was so adorable and lovely. I normally get super bad social anxiety, especially in new situations, and with so many options I became easily overwhelmed. There was a worker named Kyle who put me immediately at ease and helped me navigate the menu kindly and efficiently. Would highly recommend. Great little spot. 🤗
Such a cute little building! Great coffee & good service.
Kyle and Nick hooked us up with the South African Rhino which is a MUST TRY. My personal favorite in downtown SA.
